This is because I have been with the company for several years, I have relevant work experience and my educational background is as up to date as possible. Then I can still give myself an allowance for the extra time and still fit it in over the course of the week.As I have spent more time researching and preparing for my job search, I started to notice that when I'm overqualified for a job I still seem to be getting hired. I believe this is because I am making the hiring manager aware of all the qualities that they are looking for in a person. Even if they do n't hire me, I have already made a good impression by proving that I have what it takes.The other thing I did was to apply for as many jobs as I could. As I researched the different positions that were available in my field, I found that some companies didn't want to hire people with a business degree. This doesn't mean that I'm overqualified but it does mean that they wanted someone who was educated and had experience. By applying for jobs as many times as I could I was able to eliminate most of the 'no' responses from my resume. At that point, I was looking at about four or five jobs at any given time and I was in a good position to interview with them and pass on the jobs that were most suitable.I've applied for jobs when I was overqualified for a simple job when I was overqualified for the job. I have been accepted for several of them, and also some of the jobs that I wasn't even sure I would get. I was still very impressed by the results of these interviews because I was sure t hat I was being selected for the job based on my experiences. After all, if I had a business degree, I should be able to get a good job regardless of my qualifications.The main idea of course is to ensure that you get the most out of your time when writing a resume for a simple job when I'm overqualified.
